Legoland California Unveils Halloween Makeover For Galacticoaster

CARLSBAD, CA — Legoland California Resort is giving its newest roller coaster a Halloween makeover this fall, adding 356 fall-themed Lego elements to Galacticoaster.

The Halloween Spaceship will be available Sept. 19 through Nov. 1 as part of the resort's annual Brick or Treat celebration.

Galacticoaster allows riders to design their own spacecraft before boarding the coaster. Guests can digitally select Lego elements for the nose, tail, wings and a special feature, creating more than 625 possible spacecraft combinations.

For the Halloween season, those customization options will include new spooky designs.

The Halloween Spaceship has a Monster Fighters-inspired design, a roadster-style front end with six bone elements and a jack-o'-lantern hood ornament.

The seasonal spaceship is one of several Halloween additions at Legoland California this year. Brick or Treat will also feature a new Brick or Treat Street with six Lego Monster-themed houses, a Halloween makeover of The Dragon roller coaster, live entertainment, character meet-and-greets and Halloween-themed activities.

The theme park's 17-foot-tall Lego Halloween Tree also will return. The tree is made with more than 680,000 Lego bricks.

Brick or Treat events are included with park tickets and select annual passes on select dates from Sept. 19 through Nov. 1.
