Library Learning Center To Celebrate 15th Anniversary With Open House
The free event will feature live music, food and family-friendly activities.

CARLSBAD, CA — Community members are invited to celebrate the 15th anniversary of Carlsbad's Library Learning Center Saturday.
The Open House event will feature live music, food and family-friendly activities. The free event will include food from local restaurant Lola's, live music by LuMaya, bilingual story time in the first floor Storytime Room, reading to therapy dogs with Love on a Leash, a genealogy demonstration, tours of the library, and a viewing of the documentary "Voices and Faces."
The Library Learning Center is a full-service library that houses the city's Bilingual Services and Literacy Services divisions, which include specialized browsing collections and programs. The facility opened its doors in 2008 and provides services like bilingual story times, English as a second language classes and tutoring.

The event will take place from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday at the Library Learning Center at 3368 Eureka Place.
