Man Fatally Shot By Unknown Assailant In Oceanside
The man was pronounced dead at the scene, Oceanside Police spokeswoman Jennifer Atenza said.
OCEANSIDE, CA — A 27-year-old man was found shot to death early Wednesday in a neighborhood near Ocean's Eleven Casino, authorities reported.
The victim was lying in the roadway in the 200 block of Brooks Street, just east of Interstate 5 and south of Mission Avenue, when a passerby spotted him shortly before 2 a.m., according to the Oceanside Police Department.
The man was pronounced dead at the scene, OPD spokeswoman Jennifer Atenza said. His name was withheld pending family notification.
