Man Hospitalized After Being Struck By Train In North County
The collision happened near the intersection of Cassidy and South Meyers streets in Oceanside.
OCEANSIDE, CA — A man was in the hospital Friday after being struck by a train in San Diego's North County.
A North County Transit District Coaster hit the pedestrian around 10:45 p.m. Thursday near the intersection of Cassidy and South Meyers streets in Oceanside, according to the San Diego County Sheriff's Department.
The man was taken to Scripps Memorial Hospital in La Jolla, sheriff's Deputy Jason Burk said. His name, age and condition were not released.
