Miguel's Cocina Set to Open April 2 in Carlsbad

Construction is well underway on the $3.5 million project.

Miguel's Cocina to date is being built in Carlsbad. Originally it was slated to open January 2012 but the opening has been pushed to April 2.

The 9,000 square feet restuarant and bar is located at 5980 Avenida Encinas near Sammy's Woodfired Pizza and McDonald's. 

It will hold more than 300 diners and feature an indoor and outdoor bar area.
