
The Carlsbad community filled Valley Middle School's track and field Saturday thru Sunday for the American Cancer Society's 24-hour Relay For Life fundraising event. 29 teams and nearly 300 participants registered for this year's 8th annual event that raised over $75,000!
Fundraising efforts continue through August 31, 2013. It's not too late to get involved and help your community reach it's goal of $100,000!

As this year's Committee Chair, Dave Mills, promised, "a lot of laughs, tears and hugs" were shared by all as participants Remembered those who have passed, Celebrated loved ones and chose to Fight Back with the collective strength and inspiration of the community.
In more than 5,200 communities and 20 countries, Relay For Life events comprise the signature fundraiser for the American Cancer Society.
