Pat & Oscar's Closes Both Carlsbad Locations
As part of a Chapter 7 bankruptcy filing, Pat & Oscar's restaurants has closed its two company-owned locations in Carlsbad, first at Palomar Airport Road and now at Plaza Camino Real.

A media statement sent out by Executive Vice President Tim Foley explains the closures are part of a Chapter 7 bankruptcy filing. Foley writes: "We regret any inconvenience this may have caused our guests or community members. Pat & Oscar's 11 franchise locations in San Marcos, Mira Mesa, Carmel Mountain Ranch, Mission Valley, Eastlake, Plaza Bonita, Buena Park, South Coast Metro, Orange Town & Country, San Bernadino and Palm Desert remain open and continue to provide the quality food and everyday value our guests have come to expect. Gift Cards and Family Rewards Points will still be honored and any pending catering orders will be transferred to the nearest available location. Our franchisee group is currently working together to ensure the longevity of the Pat & Oscar's brand at all remaining Pat & Oscar's locations. We encourage our guests to stay tuned for information regarding potential new franchisee locations in Southern California featuring a new prototype with an enhanced menu and updated look and feel, while still providing great family meal choices."
