Shelter-In-Place Order Lifted In Carlsbad
Police activity had also closed Batiquitos Drive between Kingfisher Lane and Hummingbird Road, authorities said.
CARLSBAD, CA — Authorities lifted a shelter-in-place order Thursday morning in Carlsbad.
Police were responding to a man threatening suicide around 1:20 a.m., according to the Carlsbad Police Department. Authorities advised residents to shelter in place in the 7000 block of Spoonbill Lane.
Additionally, Batiquitos Drive was closed between Kingfisher Lane and Hummingbird Road, police said.

The order was lifted shortly after 4:30 a.m.

UDPATE 02:08 AM: A shelter in place is requested for the 7000 block of Spoonbill Lane for a suicidal male. Police are on still working the active incident. Batiquitos Dr remains closed between Kingfisher Ln and Hummingbird Rd.
