The Carlsbad Police Department is taking a multi-faceted approach to catching the prowler, including crime scene investigations, crime analysis and extra patrols, in addition to developing a composite sketch of the suspect.
"The community plays an important role in helping the police department solve these crimes," Koran said in a press release. "First, by helping the police department identify the suspect shown in the composite sketch. Next, by being the eyes and ears of your neighborhood, and reporting suspicious activity and crime, 24/7, when it is taking place. Finally, by securing doors and windows that might provide access."
