San Diego County Sheriff's Department: Vehicle Vs Pedestrian Traffic Collision- Poway

At approximately 5:43 PM on November 18, 2021, Sheriff's Deputies from the Poway Station responded to a vehicle vs pedestrian collision at the intersection of Espola Road and Summerfield Lane, Poway. The 34- year old female pedestrian was transported by paramedics to Palomar Hospital, Escondido for non- life- threatening injuries. The 57- year old male driver of the vehicle, a Ford Econoline van was not injured.

The Sheriff's Traffic Accident Reconstruction Team (S.T.A.R.) was called to the scene to assist in the investigation. Alcohol was not a factor in the collision.
