Dogs are supposedly man's best friend, yet so many animals are left without homes or best friends. To remedy this, Carlsbad High School's Students for the Ethical Treatment of Animals club (SETA) will be hosting a mobile pet adoption event in cooperation with the San Diego Humane Society.
SETA will hold this event at Hennessey's in downtown Carlsbad (2777 Roosevelt St, Carlsbad, CA) during the Lancer Day parade on Friday, Sept. 20.
"At this event there will be gods on site as well as information about many other adoptable dogs as well as the workers from the shelter who can help with the adoption process and give information to anyone interested," SETA club president Sophie Blake said.
SETA club members will he hard at work finding homes for these animals, so after the parade, stop by and play with them. Just be warned, it will be hard to leave without finding a new best friend.
