SoHa Living Brings Hawaiian Vibe to The Shoppes at Carlsbad
Popular Hawaii-Based Retailer Opens First San Diego County Location and Selects Carlsbad for New Manufacturing Hub

The Shoppes at Carlsbad is San Diego County's first location for popular Hawaii-based retailer SoHa Living (short for 'South of Hawaii'). The company's new 1,700 square foot spot on the lower level of the regional shopping destination offers a mix of home and gift items inspired by the islands and embodying a lifestyle of leisure, vacation, discovery, coastal chic and tropical luxury.
SoHa Living chose The Shoppes at Carlsbad based on its active redevelopment with upgraded amenities, retailers, dining and entertainment options. "We also love Carlsbad's unique beach town feel, reminiscent of vintage California surf days," said SoHa Living co-owner Shyrah Maurer. "Combined with great access and location coupled with the fact the mall serves a large number of military families, we knew this was a perfect spot for us," she added. SoHa Living plans to also use Carlsbad as a mainland manufacturing hub for proprietary products.
SoHa's mix of coastal home decor and gifts includes pillows, accessories, jewelry, kitchen items, bath & body, adorable kids & baby gifts and novelty items. The Shoppes at Carlsbad location will also offer Carlsbad-specific decor and accessory items such as local surf spot bus scrolls.
