Spring Art & Wine Walk Returning To Carlsbad Shopping Center

The shopping center will host the free event, inviting visitors to explore local artwork, enjoy live music and sample curated tastings.

CARLSBAD, CA — Spring is returning to The Forum Carlsbad with the annual Spring Art & Wine Walk.

The outdoor shopping center will host the free event April 11, inviting visitors to explore local artwork, enjoy live music and sample curated tastings.

"We love creating opportunities for the community to gather and experience The Forum Carlsbad in new ways," said Trish Pruitt, vice president of marketing for Northwood Retail. "The Spring Art & Wine Walk brings people together to discover local artists, enjoy exceptional wines and spend time with friends and neighbors."

The event will feature paintings, photography, mixed-media pieces and handcrafted works displayed inside participating shops and restaurants.

Attendees can hear live acoustic music by Marelle, watch a live painting demonstration by artist Bella Bowman near the Wine Garden, and capture photos at the Wander Wagen near the center's koi pond.

The Wine Garden, located near YETI, will offer complimentary wine tastings presented by Jimbo's, a natural and organic foods grocer. Guests can also sample a charcuterie grazing table from Mirabelle Charcuterie and try Jimbo's vegan tahini puffs. Entry to the Wine Garden is limited to guests 21 and older.

Visitors can also participate in a pressed flower bookmark workshop during the event. Tickets are available through Eventbrite, with proceeds benefiting the The Flower Fields Foundation, which supports educational and enrichment programs for children through schools, scouts and youth organizations. Donations will also be accepted at the Wine Garden to support the foundation.

The Spring Art & Wine Walk will take place from 2-5 p.m. April 11 at The Forum Carlsbad at 1923 Calle Barcelona in Carlsbad.
