Sun Comes Out In Carlsbad: Photos Of The Day

CARLSBAD, CA — Patch reader John Skoglund captured this sunset photo just north of the tower at the South Carlsbad State Beach Campground.

"It had been so long since I saw a sunset with the never-ending gloom; I had to stop and take this," he said.

The second picture was taken south of the tower of his wife, Melissa Skoglund.
