Terri DeBoever Named Associate Executive Director at La Costa Glen Retirement Community
Carlsbad senior living community adds 25-year industry veteran to senior management team.

TERRI DEBOEVER NAMED ASSOCIATE EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR AT LA COSTA GLEN RETIREMENT COMMUNITY
CARLSBAD, CALIF. – Terri DeBoever has joined La Costa Glen, the continuing care retirement community in Carlsbad, California, as associate executive director. A member of the senior management team at La Costa Glen, DeBoever oversees the community’s Food and Beverage Services, Environmental Services, Resident Services and Activities departments. She also meets regularly with the Resident Council and various resident committees.
A 25-year veteran of the senior living industry, DeBoever brings solid management and administration experience to La Costa Glen. She previously served as executive director and nursing home administrator at Brookdale retirement community in San Juan Capistrano, California, where she was responsible for the day-to-day operations of the entire campus and supervised 18 department managers and 125 associates.

DeBoever also served as director of business services/assistant executive director at the Covington, a continuing care retirement community in Aliso Viejo, California. A longtime member of the Covington management team, DeBoever joined the community prior to its opening and was responsible for establishing the business office and training the staff. In addition, she was director of the business office for Freedom Village, a continuing care retirement community in Lake Forest, California, with 450 residents and 275 staff members.
DeBoever is a licensed nursing home administrator and a licensed Retirement Community for the Elderly (RCFE) administrator. She holds a bachelor’s degree in health administration with a specialty in long-term care from University of Phoenix and is a member of the American College of Health Care Administrators.

According to David Armour, executive director for La Costa Glen, DeBoever’s appointment as associate executive director is a result of her career-long dedication to providing quality care for older adults.
“Terri’s expertise, strong work ethic and professionalism have been evident at every community she has served,” Armour said. “Her strong administrative and interpersonal skills will be critical to the management of our large, diverse staff and our continuing commitment to provide first-rate services, amenities and activities. Terri is also an excellent resource for the residents and is passionate about enhancing their quality of life while actively promoting their independence.”
