Carlsbad Summer Concert Series Continues With Betamaxx​

CARLSBAD, CA — With summer coming to a close, there are only two shows left in this year's "TGIF Concerts in the Parks" series in Carlsbad.

The summer concert series continues Friday with 1980s tribute band Betamaxx. The band will perform retro hits at Alga Norte Community Park.

The site opens at 4 p.m. and the concert starts at 6 p.m. at 6565 Alicante Road.

Parking is limited. Concertgoers are encouraged to use the complimentary bike valet service or free shuttle service.

TGIF Concerts in the Parks, originally called TGIF Jazz in the Parks, is celebrating its 36th season.

The last concert of the season will feature ABBA tribute band The FABBA Show on Aug. 11 at Alga Norte Community Park.
