'TGIF Concerts In The Parks' Series Continues Friday With B.I.G.
B.I.G. will perform a mix of R&B, smooth jazz and old school funk, including covers and original music.

CARLSBAD, CA — TGIF Concerts in the Parks will return for a second consecutive week Friday in Carlsbad. The summer concert series takes place Fridays through Aug. 11 at community parks in the city.
B.I.G., which stands for Brothers Igniting A Groove, will perform a mix of R&B, smooth jazz and old school funk, including covers and original music. The free concert will take place at Stagecoach Community Park.
The field opens at 4 p.m. and the concert starts at 6 p.m. at 3420 Camino De Los Coches.

Free parking is available at La Costa Canyon High School and the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints on Camino De Los Coches.
TGIF Concerts in the Parks, originally called TGIF Jazz in the Parks, is celebrating its 36th season.

The rest of the July lineup includes Young Guns on July 21 at Poinsettia Community Park and Jungle Fire on July 28 at Calavera Hills Community Park. The August lineup includes Betamaxx on Aug. 4 and The FABBA Show on Aug. 11. Both take place at Alga Norte Community Park.
