'TGIF Concerts In The Parks' Series Continues With Jungle Fire
Afro/Latin funk band Jungle Fire will perform at Calavera Hills Community Park in Carlsbad.

CARLSBAD, CA — TGIF Concerts in the Parks returns for another week Friday in Carlsbad. The summer concert series takes place Fridays through Aug. 11 at community parks in the city.
Afro/Latin funk band Jungle Fire will create a melting pot of Afro-Caribbean and West African rhythms with a heavy break beat funk. The band will perform at Calavera Hills Community Park.
The site opens at 4 p.m. and the concert starts at 6 p.m. at 2997 Glasgow Drive.

Parking is limited. Concertgoers are encouraged to use the complimentary bike valet service or free shuttle service.
TGIF Concerts in the Parks, originally called TGIF Jazz in the Parks, is celebrating its 36th season.

The August lineup includes Betamaxx on Aug. 4 and The FABBA Show on Aug. 11. Both take place at Alga Norte Community Park.
