A look at Carlsbad's most recent police activity.

Devon Michell Detmar, 33, was arrested in the 750 block of Raintree on the afternoon of Aug. 4 on suspicion of being under the influence of a controlled substance.

Mark Anthony Essex, 39, was arrested on suspicion of violating a court order in the 6700 block of Paseo Del Norte shortly before midnight Aug. 3.

Police arrested Michael Joseph Slane, 20 on suspicion of commercial burglary at 901 Palomar Airport Rd. on the morning of Aug. 2. Bail was set at $25,000.

Patrick M. Oneill II, 36, was arrested on a no bail felony warrant in the 2100 block of Costa Del Mar on the afternoon of Aug. 2. 

Carlsbad police arrested a 29-year-old man on an outstanding local warrant in the 8000 block of Camino Montego on the afternoon of July 29. He was identified as Ardeship Toora-Ti.

Gerardo Orozco Acosta, 25, of Oceanside was arrested in the 3100 block of Roosevelt Street on the night of July 30 on an unspecified warrant. Bail was set at $15,000. At approximately the same time and location, police placed Fred Robert Sanchez, 34, of Oceanside on a no-bail parole hold.

A 26-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of attempted robbery in the 2900 block of Madison Street on the morning of July 29. Police allege Jacob Andrew Fritts made the attempt in the 700 block of Grand Avenue. Bail was set at $50,000.

Police arrested Matthew Stephen Garrew, 23, on an unspecified outstanding Carlsbad warrant on the night of July 28. Bail was set at $5,000.

Francisco Vasquez, 26, was arrested on suspicion of shoplifting at , 2557 El Camino Real, on the afternoon of July 28.

Lindsay Kathryn White, 19, was arrested on suspicion of shoplifting at a business with an address listed as 2559 El Camino Real on the afternoon of July 27.

Police placed Anthony De Dupone, 33, under arrest on a no-bail parole hold on the afternoon of July 26 after contacting him at Grand Avenue and Madison Street.

Daniel Edmond Joslin, 48, was arrested on suspicion of assault with a deadly weapon in the 2500 block of Navarra Drive on the night of July 26. The offense was allegedly committed at the same location.

Unless otherwise noted, suspects were booked into County Jail in Vista.
