Win an Iconic Marilyn Monroe Print Made by Local Artists & Water Bottles
Finders of specially designated #10 ArtSplash decorated rocks will become keepers of a 15"X15" lithographic print of an original Marilyn Monroe collage created from plastic bottles.
Ron Juncal and Phyllis Swanson of Studio 2 in Carlsbad have been collecting 1,000 plastic water bottles, which will be reused in a Marilyn Monroe artistic creation and then ultimately recycled after ArtSplash.
ArtSplash is a family-oriented event that offers free admission and parking with proceeds benefitting arts and music programs in North County schools. This year's event takes place Saturday, Sept. 22 and Sunday, Sept.23.
To win a free 15”X15” lithographic print of the original Marilyn Monroe plastic water bottle collage, look for one of 50 special rocks with the number 10 on them "planted" in and around the Carlsbad Village and beach areas starting Sept. 14. Under each rock is a set of instructions. Then bring that rock to ArtSplash on Armada Drive in Carlsbad.
