Backyard Gobblers: Castro Valley Photo of the Week

No need to go to the zoo or an aviary - this photo was snapped in a Castro Valley backyard!

CASTRO VALLEY, CA — The East Bay has no shortage of turkeys, as Patch reader Sarah Simon can attest. She snapped this photos in her Castro Valley backyard on Nov. 19. That was less than a week before Thanksgiving. Those turkeys were living dangerously - or they were heading for higher ground!
