Bay Area Residents Losing Confidence In Economy

That's according to a new poll by the Bay Area Council.

BAY AREA, CA - Residents' confidence in the Bay Area economy is slipping, a poll released Sunday by the Bay Area Council, a business group, said.

The poll said confidence in the Bay Area economy dropped to its lowest level in four years.

In 2014, 53 percent of residents said the economy was doing better now than in the past six months. In this year's poll, only 31 percent took that view.

The council blames at least part of the drop on the housing and traffic crises in the Bay Area.
