Big Basketball Doubleheader Tonight

Basketball fans will have not one but two championship level games to watch this evening at Castro Valley High.

The Trojans' boys and girls team will both take on Bishop O'Dowd High in games with league title implications.

The girls' game begins at 5:30 p.m. at the Trojans' home gym. The boys contest starts at 7 p.m.

The Castro Valley High girls squad is 16-5 overall and 9-2 in league play. They've won 13 of their past 14 games.

Bishop O'Dowd is 19-2 overall and 12-0 in league. They've won 11 straight.

In their first meeting on Dec. 8, the Dragons won, 72-29.

The Castro Valley boys' team is 17-4 overall and 9-2 in league play. They've won seven straight.

Bishop O'Dowd is 16-5 and 11-0 in league. They've won 12 of their past 13 games.
