BREAKING: Missing Bicyclist Found Dead Off Trail in Dry Creek Pioneer Regional Park
The 51-year-old Fremont man left for a ride at about 5:30 p.m. Tuesday but did not return home.

The body of a mountain biker was found this morning 150 feet down a hillside in Dry Creek Pioneer Regional Park near Hayward where he had gone for a ride Tuesday evening, according to the East Bay Regional Park District.
The 51-year-old bicyclist left for a ride at about 5:30 p.m. Tuesday but did not return home to Fremont. His wife reported him missing at 10:15 p.m., park district officials said. Search and rescue crews from the park district and the Alameda County Sheriff’s Office found him at about 8 a.m. today down a hillside off the High Ridge Loop Trail, about two miles from the trailhead where he had parked.
Investigators do not suspect foul play but the county coroner’s bureau has not yet determined his cause of death.
