Castro Valley Fire Damages Store
The damage was not severe enough to keep the store from opening as scheduled.

CASTRO VALLEY, CA — A fire early Sunday morning damaged the Liquor King convenience store in Castro Valley. No injuries were reported.
Alameda County firefighters arrived at the store shortly before 4 a.m. They found a fire in facade behind the sign and were able to put it out before it spread into the attic space and through the store.
Liquor King opened for business as scheduled on Sunday.
