Castro Valley Home Damaged By Fire
No one was injured, but the home was damaged and one vehicle was destroyed.
CASTRO VALLEY, CA — A Castro Valley home was damaged by fire Saturday afternoon. There were no reports of injuries. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
The fire department was notified at 4:45 p.m. of the blaze on Highwood Road.
Once it was out, the fire department said on social media, "Firefighters were able to contain the fire to the garage and front portion of the structure. A vehicle was destroyed and several people were displaced."
