Chabot Football Players Moving Up

Four commit to four-year institutions, nine others receive offers

Four Chabot College football players have committed to new institutions and nine others have at least one offer.

The four sophomores who have committed are Chris Mcalpin, with Missouri Western State University in St. Joseph, Missouri; Nyles Pokipala and Frank Galios, both Central Methodist University in Fayette, Missouri; and Oliver Saunders III, Pikeville University in Pikeville, Kentucky.
“Our goal is to place 100 percent of our sophomores to four-year institutions,” Chabot coach Eric Fanene shared.
The following Chabot players have offers: Joseph Broussard, Christopher Crowell, Jamal Lavallier, Aavani Bailey, Rey Sekona, Nickolas Vaimaona, Anthony James, Shively (Timo) Fua, and Alphonso Mitchell.
