Chabot women keep rolling

Gladiators win big over Ohlone and Las Positas; Chabot men upend Renegades for first conference win

After averaging 86 points over three consecutive wins, the Chabot women’s basketball team will look to keep the good times rolling on the road this week.

The Gladiators (16-4, 4-1 Coast-North), ranked No. 13 in the state and seventh in the North Region, will travel to College of San Mateo (6-14, 2-3) on Wednesday before visiting San Jose (13-9, 4-2) on Friday, in a rematch between teams that waged a fierce battle on Jan. 3 in Hayward when the Gladiators rallied for a 77-69 win.

If Chabot can get by CSM and San Jose, it would set up a showdown against CCSF (18-3, 5-0) on Jan. 31 in San Francisco, when another Chabot victory would put them tied for first.
