Chabot wrestler Anthony Cress wins CCCAA NorCal title
The Gladiators placed fourth as a team and eight individuals qualified for the state tournament this week at San Joaquin Delta in Stockton

Led by captain Anthony Cress, the team’s lone champion at 174 pounds, Chabot finished fourth at the Northern California Community College Regional Wrestling Championships at Lassen College.
Cress is a former star at Antioch High in the Bay Valley Athletic League.
The top six placers in each weight class qualify for the state tourney at San Joaquin Delta next weekend. Chabot impressively qualified eight out of 10 wrestlers for state. Seven Gladiators will compete, with one as an alternate.
