CHP: Sig-Alert Cancelled Following Fatal Crash in Hayward
One One person was pronounced dead at the scene and the other taken to a local hospital.

The California Highway Patrol this morning has cancelled a Sig-alert issued Tuesday night following a fatal crash on the southbound Interstate Highway 880 connector to state Highway 92 in Hayward. Officers responded at 10:30 p.m. to a report of two-vehicle crash on the connector.
Officers said one person was pronounced dead at the scene, and another was transported to the hospital with serious injuries. A Sig-alert was issued at 10:48 p.m. due to lane closures at the scene, but the Sig-alert was lifted around 2:30 a.m.
