CVSan Closed 12/24 & 12/25
WMAC Open 12/24, except 98th Avenue Cashier & Hayward Pay Station closes at 1:00 p.m. & closed 12/25

Castro Valley Sanitary District (CVSan) will observe Christmas Eve and Christmas Day, Wednesday, December 24-25th as a Holiday. CVSan offices will be closed. Please call (510) 506-5821 for sewer emergencies. For information regarding CVSan services and programs, visit www.cvsan.org.

Waste Management of Alameda County (WMAC) will not observe the Christmas Eve Holiday. Recycling, organics, and garbage collection services will happen as scheduled. WMAC offices will be open. For solid waste service questions, please call (510) 537-5500 (residential) or (510) 613-8700 (commercial/business). WMAC 98th Avenue Cashier, Hayward Pay Station, and the Call Center will be open until 1:00 p.m. at which time they will close.

WMAC will observe Christmas Day Thursday, December 25, 2014 as a holiday. WMAC offices will be closed. Therefore, recycling, organics, and garbage collection services will be one (1) day later than usual December 26-27. 2014. Thursday’s collection will be on Friday, and Friday’s collection on Saturday.

New Year’s Holiday

CVSan will observe the New Year’s Event and New Year’s Day Holiday on Wednesday and Wednesday, December 31, 2014 and January 1, 2015. CVSan offices will be closed. Please call (510) 506-5821 with sewer emergencies. For information regarding CVSan services and programs, visit www.cvsan.org.
