CVSan Receives Business Partner of the Year!

Eden Area ROP recognized CVSan as a partner who provides students with work-based learning opportunities.

On November 1st, General Manager Roland Williams was one of six East Bay business leaders recognized with a Business Partner of the Year honor from Eden Area Regional Occupational Programs (ROP). The Business Partner program supports Eden Area ROP’s mission to prepare students for careers in today’s workplace.

General Manager Roland Williams has been a pivotal partner in developing summer internships for the Engineering pathway students at Castro Valley High School (CVHS) for the last two years. Castro Valley Sanitary District (CVSan) participates at CVHS career fairs and offers students in the ROP program with work-based learning opportunities.
