CVSan Receives Operating Budget Excellence Award
Award is for the fiscal year 2019/20 Budget
The Castro Valley Sanitary District (CVSan) has received the Operating Budget Excellence Award from the California Society of Municipal Finance Officers (CSMFO) for its fiscal year 2019/20 Budget. This is the third time in a row that CVSan has applied for and received this honor.
“We are proud of our continued success in financial report excellence. This is the third time we have received this award as we focus on fiscal transparency and responsibility.”, explained Roland Williams, General Manager.
CSMFO is California’s premier statewide association for finance professionals, with Chapters located throughout the State. CSMFO seeks to improve the knowledge, skills, and performance of individuals responsible for municipal and other local government fiscal policy and management.
