CVSan Scholarship Available for High School Seniors

CVSan is pleased to announce the 2014/15 CVSan Environmental Leader in Waste Reduction Scholarship for high school seniors.

Castro Valley Sanitary District (CVSan) is pleased to announce the 2014/15 CVSan Environmental Leader in Waste Reduction Scholarship for high school seniors. Up to two students may be awarded a scholarship ($500.00 each) as a way to recognize those students who are helping their school to reduce waste by utilizing the tenets of the 4Rs: Reduce, Reuse, Recycle, and Rot.

CVSan values educating the community on how to reduce what we send to landfill. The Environmental Leader in Waste Reduction Scholarship is intended to foster environmental stewardship and the leadership of those high school seniors who are taking action and are encouraging environmental awareness within their school and community.

Download the CVSan Environmental Leader in Waste Reduction Scholarship Application from CVSan’s website at http://www.cvsan.org/studentscholarship. Applications must be received by CVSan on Friday, April 3, 2015 by 2:00 p.m., no exceptions.
