On Friday May 30th Castro Valley Sanitary District (CVSan) in coordination with Waste Management of Alameda County (WMAC) hosted a free Davis Street Transfer Station (DSTS) tour for CVSan residents and business owners. Attendees viewed organic and garbage processing, the residential and commercial material recovery facilities (MRF), and the residential transfer facility.
CVSan bring your own bags (BYOB) and a fats, oil & grease (FOG) scraper were given out to tour attendees.
