DUCK AND COVER, OR RUN MAYBE

Last night at a community meeting put on by our local Deputies to discuss safety we saw something I was surprised by. But it was thought provoking and I hope your office gets to see it.
It was a short video on what to do or not do if you should God forbid ever by in an office with an active shooter in it.

The speed at which this event plays out in real time was truly unreal to watch and consider, what would I do?

Would you have time to run out? Could you or would you have the time to save others and at what point does not saving someone else live become what you need to do?

The answers might surprise you. The answers might save your life.

We are quite fortunate to have some of Sheriff Ahern's finest in our community and I hope you in San Lorenzo get time to get to know these great men and women who serve us.
