East Bay Teen Eliminated from 'The X Factor'

It was the final performance for 15-year-old San Lorenzo teen Ellona Santiago on "The X Factor" stage last night.

Santiago, along with her group, inTENsity, was one of two acts with the least amount of viewer votes after .

Singing against the Stereo Hoggzz, inTENsity performed to Kelly Clarkson's "My Life Would Suck Without You" as their survival song in hopes of persuading the judges to save them from elimination.

Unfortunately they only got Simon Cowell's vote. Nicole Scherzinger, L.A. Reid and even , voted against them.

"I need you all to know you're, you're winners," Abdul said before making her decision. "You're winning millions of fans."

For the members of inTENsity, rejection on the show is not an unfamiliar feeling — all 10 were turned down early in the competition as solo acts before .

, where she wowed all four judges, including English singer and actress Cheryl Cole.

Santiago quickly gained plenty of support on Twitter and Facebook, especially from the Filipino-American community, as she was born in the Philippines.

Out of 250,000 auditioners, to compete for a record deal and $5 million — one of the largest prizes awarded in television history.

Cowell also announced during Thursday's show that the winner would also be in a Pepsi commercial.

Santiago often kicked off each song and from fans and judges alike.
