
ALAMEDA COUNTY, CA — The Eden Fire in Alameda County burned 58 acres and was 30 percent contained, Cal Fire said at 7:41 p.m. on Monday.
The fire was first reported at about 4:20 p.m. near westbound Interstate Highway 580 east of Eden Canyon Road.
People living west of Schaefer Ranch Road had been given advisories about possible evacuations; if affected by the fire or smoke, residents can go to the Shannon Community Center, 11600 Shannon Ave in Dublin.

Dublin Boulevard was shut down to westbound traffic at Inspiration Drive for hours.

Some structures were threatened but crews halted the fire's progress and none were affected.
