10 K On The Bay Run Along Hayward Shoreline

The 9th Annual 10K on the Bay will be held August 26.

Registration starts at 7:30 a.m. The 5K begins at 8:30 a.m. and the 10K starts at 8:40 a.m.  Meet at the Hayward Shoreline Interpretive Center.

This year there will be chip timing at this event. Particpants are invited run/walk along the natural habitat of the Hayward shoreline overlooking the San Francisco Bay and Estuary.

According to organizers, the event is designed to promote environmental and health awareness. The course is USA Track and Field Certified. Call (510) 670-7270 or visit here for more information or to register go here. Registration is $30 in advance and $35 the day of the event.

Only pre-registered participants will receive an event T-shirt.
