Gain the entry-level skills needed to work in the front office of a medical, clinical or health care facility. You'll learn appointment management, customer service, medical records, confidentiality, and HIPAA.
New to the course this fall, students will also learn about Electronic Health Records (EHR), the software conversion from paper patient records to electronic paperless. A competency-based certificate is awarded upon successful completion. This course qualifies to earn credit with Chabot College. You'll receive a 10% discount on this class when you enroll in the Clinical Medical Assistant class.
