Rain forced the postponement of this charity bocce tournament at the Adobe Park bocce courts on San Miguel Avenue in Castro Valley. Entries have now been opened for an additional six more four-person mixed teams. Skill level is irrelevant. Many new players participate. Entry fee is a tax deductible $150.00 per team. ALL proceeds go to the George Mark Children's House, a San Leandro facility for the palliative care of terminally ill children and respite for their caregivers. This unique facility, the only one in the United States, relies almost solely on donations. Come on out for a fun day and feel good about yourself for helping.
