Clinical Medical Assistant Program

Would you like to become a Clinical Medical Assistant in the growing and demanding area of healthcare? This comprehensive 260 hour, 17 week program will prepare you to take the state CMA examination. Students will learn to perform back office procedures including vital signs, preparing and administering injections, drawing blood, collecting specimens, taking electrocardiograms, recording and charting patient history, preparing patients for x-rays and examinations, applying bandages and dressings, as well as other treatments and procedures.

Successful students will be offered an opportunity to enroll in an optional clinical externship program*.
