Join us at Eden Medical Center's annual Run to the Lake & Health Expo on Sunday, July 10, 2011. A community tradition, Run to the Lake seeks to encourage people to think about their health and fitness and to raise awareness for the services of the Trauma Center at Eden Medical Center.
Runners and walkers of the 5K and 10K course enjoy a challenging scenic route to beautiful Lake Chabot and back while our smaller sprinters enjoy their own challenge of the Kids Dash! Last year was a record-breaking year with more than 2,000 people of all ages participating in the run and free health expo. The free Health Expo is open to our entire community. The Expo provides valuable free health screenings, free expired medication and mercury thermometer disposal, health information and features many of our physicians and staff. Our sponsors also have the opportunity to promote their products and services. We have tremendous support from our medical staff, our employees and our community -- people who have great interest in health issues and health information.
Volunteers are also needed to help with the 5K/10K run.
