Give Your Family a Summer to Remember-- Host a French Student!

Open up your world this summer! Invite a boy or girl from France to your dinner table!

Twelve students, age 14 to 17, will be arriving August 2nd for a short term home-stay with Castro Valley area families. But many of these boys and girls still don't have host families.

Drop by the Chabot Room at the Castro Valley Library any time between 6:30 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday, June 19th to find out how easy it is for your family to host.

The students will be here August 2 to August 22. But in the middle of their stay (August 6 to August 13) they'll be on a week long tour of the California coast guided by American Discovery. Before and after the trip, you'll have altogether about two wonderful weeks to get to know your French visitor, help him or her improve their English, and forge a friendship that could last a lifetime. And perhaps in the near future you'll find yourself invited to France to visit the family of your new friend.
