
Come learn about jobs in the recycling field on June 9 at the offices of the . The workshop will be held from 10:30 a.m. to 12 p.m. and is free to the public.
The event will include a presentation and discussion by Castro Valley Sanitary District staff member Jordan Figueiredo, Co-Chair of the Northern California Recycling Association (NCRA).
He will discuss jobs in consulting, government, environmental education and hauling. This workshop will also conclude with a short networking event as well.

Light refreshments will be served and CVSan grease cans will be distributed free to the first 10 attendees.
This workshop is open to all, especially college students, young professionals and adults interested in reducing the amount of trash sent to landfill. Children age 13 and under must be accompanied by an adult.
