Microsoft Office -- New Class! Starts Oct. 23 at Castro Valley Adult and Career Education

Update your computer software applications skills! This course will give you an overview of the powerful software tools in the Office 2010 Suite -- 2010 Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Access.

Through instruction and hands-on practice, you'll gain practical knowledge to navigate the Office environment and use these tools at work or home. This course prepares students to move on to more advanced MS Office courses.

Teacher Candidates: If you are in the process of completing course requirements for your adult education or CTE teaching credential, successful completion of the Microsoft Office Basics course (80% or better) will earn you the Computer Skills Certificate needed for most credential authorizations. Note: This certificate course is also required for the new 3 Year CTE credential.

You will need to have completed a Computer Skills (Basic) class or have equivalent knowledge.
