The in Castro Valley is currently offering a needle arts class that costs only $1 per session.
This is a friendly, informal group for those age 50 and older that meets to do mostly needlepoint, count stitch and crewel, but any kind of needle work is welcome. It is being held each Friday from 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. through March 16.
The fee for each class can be paid when you arrive on site.
