The VFW Post 9601 is hosting a fund raiser for the Veterans Memorial that is to be built at the Castro Valley Community Center. The event is the Travis Amsbaugh Bocce Ball Tournament. The bocce ball tournament is sold out but there will be hamburgers, hot dogs, beer, ect for sale. Come for lunch and help support our veterans and the building of the Veterans Memorial here in Castro Valley.
The courts and park are located on San Miguel next to the Adobe Center and the skate park.
