Fishing is a fun and relaxing way to spend the day and enjoy nature. Meet the naturalist at the trailhead parking lot off West Winton Ave. for an afternoon of fishing fun. Learn fishing basics like knot-tying, rigging, and proper fish handling as we try our luck at catching species like bat ray, striped bass, and leopard shark. We have poles to lend, but feel free to bring your own gear. Anyone 16 years or older needs a valid fishing license to participate. Dress for muddy and windy conditions. Bring water and a snack. Ages 6 and up. $25
