ASHLAND, CA — The Alameda County Fire Department has released helmet cam video of a fire in Ashland last month. No one was injured in the April 8 blaze at an apartment complex.

The video shows the firefighters as they respond to the structure fire, with the dispatcher advising, "flames going over the roof." Firefighters were further advised that there was not a water source, so one was assigned.

Firefighters dragged hoses through an upstairs apartment to access the fire, which turned out to be in an outside storage room.
